Fossil Free RMIT

Fossil Free RMIT provides a space for RMIT students to explore financial divestment as a tactic for environmental activism.

Description

Fossil Free RMIT provides a space for RMIT students to explore financial divestment as a tactic for environmental activism. We encourage RMIT's continued divestment from fossil fuel companies by engaging in environmental campaigns and training students in grassroots activism. We also aim to provide a physical space for all RMIT students to socialise with other like-minded students and bring about change on our campus.

Please contact us through our Facebook and Instagram pages or email at fossil.free@rmit.edu.au.

Fossil Free RMIT acknowledges the Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands we conduct our work. We pay our respects to their elders and ancestors and recognise their continued stewardship of the land. We join the calls for First Nation's justice both here and elsewhere in so-called Australia.
