RMIT Information Security Collective (RISC)
RMIT Information Security Collective (RISC) was established to provide a bridge between academia and industry in the area of information security and to provide opportunities for RISC members to share and extend their knowledge and interest.
Unfortunately, RISC wasn't able to complete its' annual registration in 2024.
RISC was established primarily for RMIT students enrolled in information security related academic programs but welcomed membership from all students with an interest in information security.
RISC presented a range of student organised seminars, workshops and other professional development activities for all members interested in information security. The Club also aimed to spread awareness about information security and provide networking opportunities for all students interested in this area. RISC did have official ISACA Student Group recognition by ISACA International Headquarters.
