RMIT Islamic Society's primary objective is to act as a support network for all Muslim students at RMIT.

Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu, May the peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you, RMIT Islamic Society is a Muslim student organisation based in RMIT Melbourne City Campus. Our mission is to spread and promote the balanced Islamic identity at RMIT, by creating an inclusive environment that fosters the needs of Muslim students while our vision is to contribute to the betterment of the Muslim community. We aim to do this by organising various events throughout the university year such as Islamic lectures, recreational events, BBQs, social events, iftars and the list goes on.
2023 memberships are now OPEN! Membership is free and open to everyone. Please join though the membership form link in the menu at the right! Please remember that members must re-join the Society every year.

**FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS** = **Where are the prayer rooms located?** For the city campus: Prayer rooms are located in the RMIT Chaplaincy, in Building 46 on Lygon Street. Other campus prayer room locations can be found in the link provided: http://www.rmit.edu.au/chaplaincy/spiritualcentre/prayerrooms **How do I get access to the prayer rooms?** To access the City campus prayer rooms you will need to get security access via your student card. To get this please go to the Security Control Room, Building 5, Level 1 and request security access card for Building 46.
