The RMIT University Car Club (RUCC) provides social and motorsport events for RMIT Car Enthusiasts.
Join us for 2023!
RUCC has replaced the Automotive Society with a new outlook and a new and enthusiastic leadership team. Open to all RMIT students, RUCC is a social club for all RMIT car enthusiasts and aims to provide regular car meet-ups, cruises around local and regional Melbourne area, go-kart racing and affordable track meets (byo car).
You do not need to own or drive a car to be welcome in the club!
Annual Membership is free and 2023 annual Memberships are now open.
1: Click on the "Join/Renew" in the menu to the right
2: If you've joined a club through RUSU web, you should already have a log-in account. Log in through the pop-up and this will take you to the club membership form
3: If you don't have an account in the RUSU web system, there is a link to set one up at the bottom of the pop-up. Do that and you will be taken to the club membership form.
4: Please note - this is not the same as joining RUSU (that's the "Join" button at the top) Feel free to contact us through our club email or via our Facebook/Instagram. We'd especially love to hear from RMIT students who'd like to get involved in helping us to organise RUCC events and activities.
**How can you find us?**
The RUCC community is regularly active on discord! (discord open to all - Server Link) Details about our meetings and events will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram page's when organised. Feel free to check us out on any of our socials!
Please note, our club is not associated with the Car Club RMIT (CCRMIT) Inc (which has been around since 1954). Our club is run by current RMIT students for RMIT students.
*To participate in the club as a Driver with their own vehicle, members must have a valid Australian or International driver's license (P plate or Full license) and their car must be registered, roadworthy, and covered by comprehensive car insurance in the Driving Member's name.*
