The aims of the RMIT Chinese Debating Group are: To organise and support Chinese language activities To organise Chinese debating training and competitions at RMIT To successfully represent RMIT in international competitions in Chinese debating around Australia To promote Chinese culture through Chinese debating at RMIT To promote the image of RMIT amongst Chinese background students To foster cultural exchange between RMIT students and students from other Melbourne universities through dialogue and collaboration There is usually a $10 AUD annual membership fee.
